Happy Little Pantry is a destination showcasing tried and tested recipes of a modern day mother, university professional, entrepreneur, wife, avid traveller (pre-baby life), wine connoisseur and restaurant/food critic. 

 

Founder Claire Ritchie defies the traditional boundaries of being in a particular profession. Having spent 17 years in the cosmopolitan city of Hong Kong (during the British colonial era), and being spoilt by the choice of authentic International cuisine, underpinning Claire’s love of quality food. In 2001, Claire arrived in Brisbane, Australia, and since then, her inquisitive nature has led her to discover the love of cooking and to begin developing her culinary repertoire. Claire currently lives in Melbourne, Australia.

Claire’s food heroes include Rick Stein and Maggie Beer. Rick Stein has shaped many of the ways Claire travels and explores the world (such as eating on the Eurostar or French countryside service stations where you don’t need to compromise on quality. Maggie Beer’s warmth and kindness feed the values and food philosophy that Claire aspires to expand and live up to.
